Located in a luxury condominium, The Panda Full Slab Bath is a high-end bathroom renovation that showcases modern design, large-format porcelain slab installation, and precision craftsmanship. Completed as a design-build collaboration with the clients' Interior Designer, this project highlights our role in fabrication, detailing, and installation—bringing a custom, design- driven vision to life.
The space is fully clad in large-scale Panda porcelain slabs, installed in a bookmatched pattern at the client’s request. This modern bathroom design approach creates a mirrored veining effect across the walls, transforming the porcelain into a continuous architectural feature. While not a natural stone, Panda porcelain delivers the same bold visual impact with enhanced durability and consistency—making it an ideal material for a luxury bathroom remodel.
To balance the scale and intensity of the high-contrast slabs, custom satin-finish millwork was integrated along a primary wall. This detail introduces texture and warmth, breaking up the darker surfaces while adding depth and refinement. The combination of porcelain slab walls and custom millwork creates a layered, high-end aesthetic that feels both dramatic and controlled.
A custom flat-panel birch wall-hung vanity anchors the space, bringing in a natural element that softens the overall composition. Its clean lines and floating design enhance the modern bathroom layout while maintaining a sense of openness and functionality.
Execution was critical to the success of this Hoboken bathroom renovation. The full slab porcelain installation required precise planning, expert fabrication, and exact alignment to achieve the bookmatched effect. Every seam, edge, and transition was carefully detailed to deliver a seamless, luxury finish.
